MT Raceteam was founded with one clear ambition: to develop young Danish racing talent Marcus Terkildsen and build a professional pathway towards the highest levels of international motorsport.

What began as a passion for racing has evolved into an ambitious, performance-driven racing programme built on determination, strong partnerships and a long-term vision.

From karting and Formula 5 to touring cars and international endurance racing, Marcus has consistently demonstrated his talent and commitment. Named Motorsport Talent of the Year in 2025, he took a major step forward in 2026, making his international debut in the Ligier European Series with 23Events Racing.

And what a debut season it became.

At just 16 years old, Marcus secured third place in the JS2 R Championship and was crowned Rookie of the Year 2026. With seven pole positions, two lap records, six podium finishes and a race victory, he established himself as one of the championship’s standout performers, despite a season marked by significant technical challenges.

Working alongside experienced professionals, including racing coach Jan Magnussen, Marcus continues to develop the skills, experience and mindset required to compete at the next level.

With successful LMP3 testing already part of his development, MT Raceteam is now focused on the next chapter, building towards new opportunities in international prototype and endurance racing.
